Nine Subiaco student mathletes traveled to Little Rock on March 10th to compete in the Mu Alpha Theta 2024-25 Math Competition hosted by Mount St. Mary's Academy. Congratulations to Grayson Collins who earned a trophy for placing 3rd in algebra singles! Mu Alpha Theta is a national honor society that recognizes students for their mathematical achievements. It's intended to promote interest in math and establish it as an essential part of a student's education. Thank you to Ms. Hoffower for accompanying her students to this math event. ✝️Solidarity with San Benito 2025 For over a decade Subiaco Abbey and Academy have been Partners in Education with Colegio San Benito in Esquipulas, Guatemala. In coordination with the sisters at Saint Scholastica Monastery in Fort Smith, the academy has raised funds each Lenten season to support the GEM (Girls’ Education Matters) scholarship program at San Benito. As part of this effort, we are selling t-shirts this year that highlight our solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Christ at San Benito school. 🌟The t-shirts are $20.
