We were honored to host another memorable Fall Parents Weekend that included conferences, a concert, an orange and blue basketball game, and quality time together on campus. Thank you to the parents and families who joined us and created lasting memories with their sons.

Our students enjoyed the special attention they both gave and received while welcoming their grandparents to campus today! From near and far, they came to show their grandsons how much they mean to them. All enjoyed this time together, and it is a perfect lead into our Parents Weekend that begins Saturday morning. Music, appreciation, prayers, and lots of smiles. All were seen, heard, and shared today. May God bless our grandparents! Thank you to our Development Department for hosting this treasured event. #subiacoacademy

At Subiaco, we cherish the tradition of welcoming and honoring our students’ grandparents on Grandparents Day. There's something special about our students introducing their grandparents to their classmates and also to our beautiful campus. Some of the festivities will include a performance by our Jazz Ensemble, a welcome address from the headmaster, refreshments, and a prayer service led by our Subiaco Abbey Benedictine monks. We can't wait! #subiacoacademy
In the Freshman religious studies course entitled Jesus Christ, the source of our Salvation, taught by Fr. Reginald Udouj, O.S.B., student groups are performing casual reenactments of parables this month. Some of the parables to be reenacted are the parable of the Tenant, the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax collector, and the parable of the prodigal son. Today the class was treated to the performance of the parable of the Good Samaritan, as interpreted by Andrew Le, Morgan Berg, Romeo Castillo, and Benton Smith.
Similarly, earlier in the semester, our Honors English II class instructor, Mr. Colton Ketter, assigned recitations of a monologue from William Shakespeare's play, Julius Caesar. Many of the students took it upon themselves to present the recitation while clad in historically-accurate costumes and with props.
The interactive and experiential nature of simulations and role-play brings history, literature, and religious studies to life, making it more memorable and engaging for learners. Our students greatly enjoy the incorporation of simulation-based activities into their curriculum. #subiacoacademy
Today, we welcomed Trinity Catholic School in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Subiaco Academy for Shadow Day! Matched with our student ambassadors, the future Trojans (🤞) experienced our Outdoor Adventure Program, toured classrooms, and took in the unique atmosphere that makes our campus special—guided by the light of our Benedictine Abbey. #SubiacoAcademy #ShadowDay #BenedictineTradition #OutdoorAdventure
Grateful for a meaningful Sunday at the Diocese of Little Rock's Sr. High Youth Rally! Our own Fr. Reginald and Br. Augustin spent the day with our students, assuring a great experience of faith. Guest speaker, Chris Padgett, mixed humor with a strong message for the youth centered around the theme "Renewed", and Fr. Reginald had the honor of concelebrating the Mass with Fr. Hebert, and Fr. Mauricio, both Little Rock diocesan priests. A day filled with fun, inspiration, and a reminder that our relationship with Jesus is what matters most. 🙏 #FaithInAction #SubiacoAcademy

The thrill of adventure in the heart of the Natural State! With the leadership of our Outdoor Adventure Program Coordinator, Mr. Nick McDaniel, our students have opportunities to explore breathtaking Arkansas landscapes, while building skills and making memories that last a lifetime.
Fall Break offered that opportunity for eight of our Subi men. They experienced three days and two nights of backpacking in the area of the upper Buffalo National River, home to Arkansas’s most beautiful scenery, as well as some of the finest in America.
Our students camped in the wilderness at the base of massive towering bluffs at Sneed's Creek, hiked the Goat Trail, and explored Hemmed in Hollow. As participants in the Outdoor Adventure Leadership course, students Josh Post and Gregory Martijn helped plan and lead the trip.
This section of Arkansas is breathtaking with waterfalls, wildlife, and ties to both historic and prehistoric cultures. It’s why Congress designated the Buffalo as America’s First National River in 1972!
Subiaco Academy is a place like no other. Focusing on whole-person development, we offer our Outdoor Adventure Program as one tool for our goal of forming boys into men, set against the stunning backdrop of Arkansas’s Natural State.
