Todays grade seven and eight retreat was a great success. The guys were wonderful during the spiritual talks and had a good time in and around the Mulberry River. Several adults at the Oark Cafe commented “Your young men are amazingly well behaved. You must be doing something right at Subiaco.”
Grades seven and eight read chapter 6 of the Rule of Benedict on restraint of speech. Proper use of our power of speech is the focus of today’s retreat. The first 20 minutes of our travel are in silence.
