OUR JUNIOR CLASS visited a college fair yesterday hosted by the University of the Ozarks. They had the opportunity to gather information and meet over 50 representatives from colleges and universities in the U.S. They also bumped into Subiaco alumni who currently attend the University of the Ozarks. Thank you Jackson Frederick ('21) and Matthew Friemel ('24) for your time and interest in your Subi brothers.

Grades 7&8 enjoyed a day out on retreat at Devil's Den State Park. It may seem like an odd venue for a religious retreat, but it is a beautiful location! The theme for the day was based on chapter 48 of Saint Benedict's rule, the daily manual labor. The prayer and spiritual talks focused on the value and dignity of work well done.

Senior Hudson Pruitt from Fort Smith, Arkansas, is spending two weeks at Instituto Cesare Arici, a classical high school in Brescia, Italy. During his stay, Hudson will observe and learn about the Italian school system while promoting Subiaco Academy. Hosted by an Italian family, he will also introduce the students of Cesare Arici Institute to our academy.
We are proud that the virtues of our school will be shared with more families across the world. Onward Trojans!

Today one of our seniors, Tyler Stevens, was sworn into the Oklahoma Air National Guard by his father, Major Phillip Stevens of the 188th Wing, Fort Smith, Arkansas. It was almost exactly 25 years ago that Major Stevens was sworn in at the same age as his oldest son, Tyler.
Following his Subiaco Academy graduation in May of 2025, Tyler will attend basic training and after completing tech school for 93 days will attain the position of F-16 Crew Chief.
Tyler plans to continue in January of 2026 in ROTC as he attends Flight School to become a Professional Pilot through the Aerospace Administration and Operations major of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The Ray and Linda Booker OSU Flight Center opened in 2022 and serves as a premiere resource for students pursuing degrees in aviation education.
