This past week our teachers and staff were celebrated with special treats and recognition. We appreciate all they do for the students. One way we had fun was by designating several of them as "Lucky Ducks!" They could claim prizes when they found a rubber duck in the school buildings. We love our teachers and staff💙🧡

The final student weekly mass of the year was full with students and faculty. Deacon Roy Goetz expanded upon the Daily gospel reading from John 16: 12-15. He explained that in this gospel Jesus tells us about the Holy Spirit, using the word the "advocate". Jesus told his disciples to wait for the advocate, meaning "the one who walks along side." Deacon made it clear that when we call upon the Spirit, we open ourselves up to the wholeness of Truth. To the one who walks along side us."
We pray for our 2024 graduates as they move on in their lives, and encourage them to call upon the Spirit and remember that He is walking with them every step of the way.

🩺We honored our favorite school nurse today, "our" Nurse Barbara Wilhelm! She is our nurse and oh, so much more! 🧡💙
The students and the Subiaco Academy parents showed her their appreciation with fresh flowers. They were presented by a large group of students who regularly gather in her office after lunch to be with their favorite nurse.
🏅Elijah Roker earned 6th place in Triple Jump for the entire State of Arkansas today at the Meet of Champions! This award was achieved over all school size classifications in the state.

⚽Subiaco Trojan soccer has advanced to State for the 2nd year in a row since entering our new 3A conference! The Trojans play in Harrison on Thursday May 9th at 7:00 p.m.

The cycling team spent the weekend racing at The Muddy Gnome, I mean The Ugly Gnome Race. The weekend was full of rain, mud, the Toad Suck festival, and fun.
