TODAY we celebrated our teachers, students, and parent association. Our teacher appreciation luncheon, prepared by our devoted food service team, and Ice cream sundaes served by our devoted parents. For all that these individuals add to our community, we give God the Glory!

Every week, we feature a different faculty or staff member and learn more about what makes them tick. Today's spotlight is on Assistant Procurator and Director of Operations, Karla Kennedy.
What's your favorite part of your job? The other team members that I get to work with.
Do you have sons or daughters? What are their ages? I have four children. Madeline 19, Lily 15, Ian 12, and Max 10.
Where were you born and where did you grow up? I was born in Booneville, AR and grew up in Paris, AR.
What's your favorite spot on campus? The Church
What's your favorite food? Seafood
What was your favorite subject in school? French class - The French phrase I remember is the very useful "Je vais au lycee en voiture"- "I go to high school by car."
What activities or sports were you involved in during high school or when you were younger? Track, Softball, Band (trumpet), Majorette, Dance (tap, ballet, jazz), and Church youth group.
Who is your favorite sports team? The Razorbacks -- Woo Pig!
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A doctor!
What's your strongest memory from your first day ever at Subiaco? How nice everyone was to me.
What's a fun fact about yourself that others might be surprised to know? I was a majorette in high school and twirled a fire baton every year at homecoming.

LASTING BROTHERHOOD~ Local alumni from the Classes of '73, '78, and '83 treated our Basketball Trojans to Mexican food at El Puerto in Ozark after their Friday night games.
