A Little About Me:
My family used to live in Texas before moving to Arkansas. My husband Charles and I have two wonderful boys. My older son Daniel attends the junior high at the Academy; my younger son Samuel attends a local Catholic school. Much of my spare time is spent cooking new recipes for family delight and enjoying various outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, and trout fishing. It is truly a blessing to teach at the Academy and live in a unique place called Subiaco.
Being an ESL and Chinese teacher has given me many opportunities to build up my students' language proficiency and instill their passion for learning languages. I believe collaborative learning enhances students’ learning and builds collaborative skills. As a sponsor for CASA (Cultural Awareness at Subiaco Academy) Club, I appreciate a unique culture that each student represents. The annual CASA presentation gives the student body and the faculty a great opportunity to appreciate our diversity on campus. I am very proud of sharing Benedictine education with prospective families around the world.
