A Little About Me:

My family is very important to me. I am one of seven children and my parents instilled in me a strong sense of love and commitment to our family. My siblings and I try to get together several times a year and often take vacations together. I have extended this devotion to my family. My husband, Ken, and I have three wonderful children. Spending time together, whether it be camping, going to football games or eating an evening meal is what makes me truly happy.

Having the opportunity to teach in a Catholic school is a pleasure. Ken and I both attended Catholic schools growing up, so providing a Catholic education for our own children is a top priority.  My daughters and son both attend(ed) St Joseph’s School in Paris. In 2010, my son started Subiaco as a seventh grader. The day he received his diploma was one of the proudest moments of my life. Seeing him grow and develop into a true "Subi Man" was amazing. Being involved in a Catholic learning environment is extremely rewarding. I especially love the opportunity to pray and attend Mass with my students.

My goal as a teacher is to give my students the knowledge and skills necessary to have success in college and later in life. It is exciting when a student has an “ah-ha” moment and his face lights up with understanding. This makes teaching worthwhile!
