A Little About Me:

I love being a nurse and have been for 23 years. I have had a variety of nursing experience through the years, from hospital setting, home health/hospice nurse, to administration of a Long term care Rehabilitation center, but being a school nurse has been the most rewarding. As a school nurse, my goal is to increase the amount of time each student spends in the classroom setting by minimizing the health-related issues that impair learning and promote the highest degree of functioning possible for each student. I am proud to be part of the Academy and enjoy working with everyone. I am from this area and live 20 minutes from campus. I am married and have three wonderful children and a grandchild that is my world. I am family oriented and spend the majority of my time off with my family. I enjoy watching sports, especially basketball. In the summer I enjoy gardening, canning and swimming with my children.
