A Little About Me:
Education at a boarding school
My role as Assistant Headmaster at Subiaco Academy is both very humbling and exciting. I get the opportunity to work side by side with wonderful people every day. Our team at Subiaco consists of many bodies. It is an honor to work with our Administration, Faculty, Staff, Board of Trustees, Development Department, Business Office, Maintenance Department, Kitchen staff, Alumni, Parent’s Association, and most importantly our Monastic community. As a team, anything is possible. I look forward to being a part of leading our Academy and helping continue the excellent tradition of education, faith formation, and turning boys into men.
My passion for sports and the outdoors was developed during the years of my childhood growing up in Little Rock, Arkansas. I started playing sports at the tender age of five. I played football, basketball, and baseball until I was out of high school and continued my love of baseball through college. Sports afforded me the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to be successful in the world that we live in today. My parents introduced me to the outdoors when I was young. Camping was a means for our family to come together and spend quality time with each other. I continue to love the outdoors and have been riding horses now for about 15 years. Living in the Arkansas River Valley and having access to many trails and tough terrain has provided me with an ongoing appreciation of "saddling my horse" and exploring places that I otherwise could not get to. Horseback riding puts me in a quiet place where I have the opportunity to think, reflect, relax and get away from the outside distractions of the world that we live in today. I also like fishing, hunting, camping and planting my spring garden.
