A Little About Me:
I came to Subiaco Academy from Gettysburg College, a top-50 liberal arts college in Pennsylvania. I served in multiple capacities during my tenure including as a teacher, coach, and administrator. I was the Assistant Vice President in the Enrollment and Educational Services Division where I took the lead in shaping the college’s value proposition through brand identity and marketing strategies and I provided strong leadership in increasing enrollment and retention rates. I built on my doctoral dissertation research for “Student Leadership Development” to develop the Gettysburg College Leadership Certificate. Moreover, I took my passion for leadership development to the classroom where I taught Time Management, Values Clarification, and Goal Setting to first-year students. I’m a strong supporter of the role of co-curricular activities, whether academic, musical, athletic, or social, in the development of young people into adults who can confidently thrive on a vast horizon. In my early years, I was a highly successful soccer coach and as Director of Athletics, the program soared to new heights which included many conference titles as well as three NCAA Women’s Lacrosse National Championships.
I’m married to Cindy and we have three grown daughters and a German Shepherd. In our free Time, we love the outdoors. We’re in the process of running a half marathon in all 50 states. We also love to hike, bike, and spend time on the water. As a former collegiate soccer All-American, I still enjoy getting out on the field with Subiaco Academy student-athletes. I look forward to meeting you while you visit Subiaco Academy.
