A Little About Me:
I grew up in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, but graduated from County Line High School in Branch, AR. I have taught art in both public and parochial schools at various grade levels in Arkansas, New York, Oklahoma, and Hawaii. I love to teach art to all ages and abilities and believe that art is for everyone.
I’m married to Jeff O’Neal (Dean of Men), and three years ago we decided to retire from the military and come home to Arkansas. We felt that God had called us back to our families who still live locally and to be in service to the Academy. We have three wonderful children: Beau, Jackson, and Rachel. Beau is a 2016 graduate of Subiaco. Jackson is apart of the (Class of 2019) at the Academy, and Rachel is in the 8th grader at Paris Middle School. Our kids have adapted from being gypsy military kids and are becoming members of the community.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening, taking walks with Jeff, hanging with my kids, and watching youth sports. We have three dogs and a rescue cat. I like to end my day with a relaxing night of Netflix while sitting in my favorite recliner. I’m excited to get the school year started and see what the young men of Subiaco Academy will produce in the art department. I promise to keep them moving towards self-discovery through the arts, and that I will provide an encouraging and positive experience for all students. Go Trojans!
