A Little About Me:
My Subiaco Academy education helped me achieve an Honors College Fellowship at the U of A. This fellowship gave me the opportunity to live and study in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, and Uruguay. During my time there, I gained fluency in Spanish and also taught English as a volunteer in adult education. After graduation from the U of A, I was selected as a Fulbright Fellow. The Fulbright awarded me a Teaching Assistantship in Brazil where I taught English as a Foreign Language to university students while becoming conversational in Portuguese. Language acquisition is a passion, and I enjoy teaching in this field. Before entering the master’s program at Tech, I tutored, taught Language Arts, and served as a dean at Subiaco Academy. I am happy to be back!
In my spare time, I spend as much time outside as possible. I enjoy cycling, rock climbing, camping, canoeing, and gardening. I also enjoy the bass guitar and drumming.
