A Little About Me:
Before coming to Subiaco Academy to enter the novitiate, I taught at St. Joseph Catholic High School in Pine Bluff (2011-2013) and at Christ the King Catholic School in Little Rock (2013-2014).
A few of my foremost ideas of fun happen to neatly overlap with what a fair number of teenagers term ‘punishment.’ Those hobbies include reading, writing, and running. I occasionally occupy myself with other pastimes, such as playing board games or working in the Abbey wood shop. I also don’t mind cooking, though I expect that stems largely from the resulting opportunity to eat. Though I only coach track and cross country, I do enjoy other sports. While preparing to move to Arkansas, however, I considered the rarity of consecutive months below freezing in this state and left my hockey equipment behind.
Since that move to Arkansas, I’ve continually met students who have impressed me by rising to every standard I had set, however high. My first day of teaching hardly passed before I discovered a deep passion for helping students develop the academic maturity and skills to have no trouble succeeding in college, allowing for a smooth transition into the next phase of their lives. With that joy, I am thrilled to serve as a member of Subiaco Academy’s faculty.
